Design Communication for a Social Impact Café
About the client
misto.cafe is an ordinary place with an extraordinary purpose. Every cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the cafe helps develop the city. 80% of the net profit goes towards grants for social projects.

How did we unite 100 passionate individuals?

We were inspired by Lutsk — its locations, shapes, and architecture to create the branding for misto.cafe.

The next step toward building a community was the website. It introduced the project and explained why becoming a co-founder of a social impact café was exciting.

During the crowdfunding campaign, we used social media to share about the café, invite people to join, and showcase those who had already become co-founders.
Identity
The vibe of Lutsk was infused into the identity — from dessert boxes to tote bags, from chocolate wrapper to stickers.
We created about 60 unique packaging designs in collaboration with misto.cafe, which will be available in their shop.
Website
The magic “join” button was clicked by 159 people, with 100 of them becoming co-founders and gaining their profile with their motivations mentioned on the website.
The framework we used for developing the misto.cafe website allowed for a quick launch with only a front-end developer involved.
Social media
Through social media, we highlighted the unique aspects of the café and why it’s special to be among the hundred co-founders. The design emphasized that misto.cafe is not only about great food but also about the city and its people.
