About the project
Digital State UA is the first state media platform initiated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The project represents thed igital brand of Ukraine on a global level, highlighting innovations in the areas of GovTech, IT, and Tech, forming the image of a modern, tech-driven country.
The task
To build a platform that will serve as a single entry point for global audiences and showcase real-life cases of Ukraine's digital transformation.
Development
We developed a website management system that brings together all areas of the Digital State UA project in one space. Now users can easily browse news, projects, partner information, and media mentions.
The design of the website was crafted by the creative agency HyperNormal. They also developed the overall strategy, branding, and manifesto for Digital State. that captures the essence of the project in just one minute.
To ensure speed, the Digital State UA website was built using the
Single Page Application
(SPA) concept. Only the parts that change are loaded dynamically. Static elements like styles, fonts, the header, footer, and navigation remain untouched.
Technical solution
We used Remix to develop the site — a modern framework built on web standards that ensures fast, stable performance even under heavy load. It handles page routing, dynamic content, and caching efficiently, keeping the site fast at all times.
Files, images, and documents are stored in an S3-compatible cloud storage, which is scalable and can be connected to any project via API. This guarantees flexibility in the growth of the Digital State UA digital ecosystem.

Published!, allowing translations to be created and updated right within the admin panel.
Each page can either mirror the original or offer content tailored to a specific market.
This makes it easy to manage localized content — for example, publishing different news or messaging based on the audience.
Accessibility
МWe ensured the website is intuitive and accessible for all user groups. Specifically, we:
- Enabled full keyboard navigation
- Ensured compatibility with screen readers
- Adapted the color palette to meet accessibility standards
Additionally, we introduced high-focus mode, greyscale palette, underlined interactive elements. The website also scales properly and adjusts to each user’s personal settings.
